Timing is everything in Boomstone. The most effective strategy is to clear the outer edges of the grid first, funneling enemies toward the center where your stone sits. This forces them into predictable movement patterns, making your subsequent bomb placements far more accurate. Always reserve at least two bombs for the final wave; you can't afford to be caught off guard. When facing large groups of enemies, prioritize bombs with wider blast radii even if they deal slightly less damage per hit, since clearing the screen quickly reduces the time enemies have to damage the stone. If you're struggling with a specific enemy type, try combining small, frequent bursts rather than one massive explosion; this often breaks their formation more efficiently. Don't forget that the grid wraps around the edges, so a bomb placed near the border can hit enemies circling from the opposite side.
