SparrowElimination is a minimalist precision platformer where your only goal is to guide a solitary sparrow across a shifting grid of hazards. The world is composed of floating platforms that slowly drift apart, rotating, or sinking beneath the surface. You must time your movements perfectly to avoid spikes, pits, and sudden environmental shifts. The game rewards patience and spatial awareness rather than reflex alone. Each level introduces new obstacle types, requiring you to adapt your route dynamically. There is no health bar; one misstep means an instant reset, so every pixel matters. The aesthetic is clean and stark, with a muted color palette that emphasizes the fragility of the sparrow against the geometric rigidity of the environment.

Mastering SparrowElimination hinges on understanding platform trajectories. Before attempting a jump, observe the subtle drift of the nearest platform. Many players rush to jump, only to realize the target has already moved out of reach. Instead, wait for a moment when the platform aligns perfectly with the sparrow’s current position or trajectory. Learn to anticipate rotational shifts by watching the edges of floating islands; they often rotate before fully flipping, offering brief windows of safe passage. Practice edge-hugging to maximize your range without triggering collision triggers prematurely. The game does not punish slow play, so deliberate, calculated movements will always outperform frantic tapping. Additionally, memorize the spawn points of hazardous spikes—they often appear in predictable sequences once you’ve cleared a section, allowing you to plan safe corridors ahead of time.

Controls Reference

- Click: Instantly moves the sparrow to the nearest valid platform beneath it. The sparrow cannot hover indefinitely; it will always attempt to land on the closest safe surface. - Drag (Hold): While holding the click, you can manually guide the sparrow across platforms, simulating a controlled glide. This is useful for navigating narrow gaps or avoiding sudden spikes. - Release: Releases the sparrow to its natural drift state, allowing it to fall or float until it finds a new platform.

There are no keyboard inputs or touch gestures beyond mouse interaction. The game runs in a fixed window size, so resizing may disrupt platform alignment—keep your viewport stable for optimal performance.
