Gaming Terms to Know

Dodge Roll

A quick evasive tumble that grants brief invincibility frames. Use it to slip through enemy attacks and reposition behind them.

Parry

A defensive move that deflects an incoming attack at the exact moment of impact, opening a brief window for counter-attack. High risk, high reward.

Ultimate

A character's most powerful ability, charged by dealing or taking damage. Visually spectacular and often capable of clearing entire screens.

Stun Lock

A state where repeated hits prevent the target from moving or acting. Stun-locking enemies is the core of crowd control in action games.
