Drafting

Also called slipstreaming — following closely behind another vehicle to reduce air resistance, gaining a speed advantage to slingshot past them.

Drift

A controlled slide through corners where the rear wheels lose traction while the driver maintains steering control. Essential for tight turns in racing games.

Nitro

A high-powered fuel additive that provides an extreme speed burst, usually lasting 3-5 seconds. Often refilled by performing stunts or hitting checkpoints.
