Controls

Steer with A/D or the left/right arrow keys to swap between the three lanes, and hold Space to fire straight down the road. Hold W or the up arrow to boost — it makes you faster, but it also drinks your fuel. On a phone or tablet, tap and hold the screen to fire, swipe left or right to change lanes, or use the on-screen ◀ / ▶ / BOOST / FIRE buttons. P pauses.

Tips

• Your fuel gauge is the real clock. Shooting cars tops it up a little, so keep the trigger busy instead of coasting and waiting for the tank to empty on its own.
• Green fuel trucks are the only big refill in the game. The moment the bar drops below half, drop whatever you are doing and hunt the truck down.
• Your gun only hits what is directly in front of you, so pick your lane like a firing line — line up an enemy car, then hold fire, rather than spraying across lanes.
• Wrong-way traffic closes on you far faster than anything else. Watch the amber headlights coming up near the horizon and change lanes early, not at the last second.
• Boost is a fuel trade, not a cruise mode. Spend it to chase down a fuel truck or to clear a gap you cannot shoot your way out of, then settle back down.
• Kills chain into a combo multiplier that climbs with every car you wreck in quick succession — but a single crash resets it, so protect the streak.
